Following my post earlier in the year where I mentioned that as a Board member of AQR, I am looking at how the industry uses qualitative market research, I am delighted to announce that the results of this research will be presented on 3rd November at RSA, London.
Anne-Claire Pierron (Research Manager at LRWTonic) and I will kick off the evening with a presentation on what we’ve learnt from speaking to many qualitative research users, including marketers, planners, entrepreneurs, brand owners and innovators. This will be followed by a panel discussion, and then drinks, canapés and time to connect.
Panel Guests:
Shafik Saba – Global Marketing Director — GSK
Alistair Vince – Chief Tinkerer – Watch Me Think
Sarah Sandford – Planning Director – Isobel
Ed Silk – Strategy Director – Bulletproof London
Lyn McGregor – Group Board Director — Flamingo

Mindframes, Wendy Gordon’s new book is out on 18th October and I had the pleasure of reviewing it and then interviewing her about it. It was great to spend half an hour talking to this wonderful woman, who gave me so much knowledge and confidence as a qualitative researcher. The book is a really good read for anybody who has to make sense of data, whether a qualitative practitioner, a planner, an anthropologist or a strategist. If you’d like to hear me interviewing her about Mindframes go to following link.

I would like to hear from anybody who would be happy to talk to me about their perspective on this. Please contact me via email at consultjmt@icloud.com and I will get in touch with you. Thank you.
GOED Exchange 2016 went extremely well. There were many interesting perspectives.
